Why did you first look into joining Toastmasters?
I wanted to practice giving presentations and speaking in large meetings.
What were your concerns or apprehensions about first visiting a club or joining as a member?
I thought that the people and the material would be boring; I imagined endless business-oriented PowerPoint presentations. Boy, was I wrong!
What was your actual experience compared to your apprehension?
I had a great time the first time I attended as a visitor. Everyone was laughing and having a blast. I resolved to join Toastmasters before the end of that first meeting.
What caused you to actually join?
I needed to practice presentations and so on, plus my experience as a visitor was very enjoyable. The people seemed so warm, welcoming, and witty that I could not resist.

Because it HAS to be the best group in town. I can’t imagine anything that could be better.
