Hello Everyone,

Our club will have our Evaluation and International Speech Contest on March 6th. That's about 3 weeks away.

As contest chair, I'd like to encourage you to participate in both contests. Let us keep the Big D! banner flying high!

All members are eligible to participate in the Evaluation Contest. For our newest members - you will evaluate a speech given by a featured speaker. No preparation necessary! It is that simple!

Members who have completed at least 6 speeches from the C & L manual are eligible to compete in the International Speech Contest. The speech must be original and the duration must be 5-7 minutes.

I am also looking for helpers to assist in the conduct of this entertaining session. We will need 2 timers, 1 vote counter and 2 sergeant-at-arms. We also need a member to do the invocation and pledge.

If you would like to volunteer in any of these roles, please let me know.
