A new year ... new focus ... new challenges!

At our last officer training, I picked up a sheet of paper that was titled 40 Guests ... in 4 minutes! I want to show you just how easy it is to put together a list of people you KNOW who just might like to be invited to a Toastmasters meeting by YOU!

4 Relatives
4 Friends
4 Co-Workers
4 Neighbors
4 Church or Social Group Contacts
4 People with whom you do business (bank, grocery store, etc)
4 Contacts through your children
4 Spouse's Co-Workers or their spouses
4 Previous co-Workers/Neighbors
4 Others in your address / email contact book

Now I have just listed 10 categories and I know that you know four people in each one of those groups. Your challenge is to sit down with this Blog Post, take a sheet of paper, and knock out these people quickly.

The rest is easy ... make a phone call, drop an email, talk face-to-face at the office, and invite someone to come to a Big 'D' Toastmasters Club meeting. I challenge you to do this exercise, and then bring a friend to a meeting. As you know, three out of four times, they will become a part of us ... just because you asked.
