Humorous Speech & Table Topics Contest

What a great night at the Callier Center, Friday, October 12th. There was a sizable turnout and we had a wonderful time.

Eric Dyson, our VP of Membership, competed in the Humorous Speech contest and took 2nd place. He will compete at the Fall Conference if the winner is unable to compete.

Yours truly, Paul Carter, competed in the Table Topics contest and took 1st place, moving on to the November 9th & 10th Fall Conference.

Big D Toastmasters Club was well represented by a number of our members to encourage both Eric and me on. Mark you calendars for Nov 9th and 10th ... Friday will be the competition for Table Topics and Saturday for Humorous Speech. Our own Danni Babik is heading this entire conference up. It is one of the final steps for her to achieve her DTM.
