This was NOT the winner of the Humorous Speech Contest!

I apologize for not getting this out faster than I did, but I was really wanting someone else to blow the horn. Since that hasn't happened, here's the scoop ...

Eric Dyson, your VP of Education, won 1st place in the Area 31 & 34 contest. Yours truly, Paul Carter / President of the Big "D" Club, won 1st place in Table Topics.

A Sweep! That's what it was ... and we had a great time. Thanks to all who turned out, ate some great barbecue, and enjoyed part of a Saturday listening to some funny speeches and a great table topic that every contestant had to answer.
