I am always amazed at the number of people who show up at the Double Tree for our meetings on Thursday evenings!

Many people come to this blog and web site on a daily and weekly basis. They read about the meeting, who gave speeches and what they were about, and who took home the ribbons. They see pictures of our members and events. One important thing is that they see an up-to-date web site and blog site.

And, when I ask our visitors how they heard about us, invariably they say it was on the internet. One of our guests this week said she logged onto the Toastmasters International web site, searched for a club in Dallas, and ours came up.

Here is a breakdown of August 2nd's meeting ...

1st time visitors — Abraham H., Regina K., and  Marty L.

Previous visitors that joined on the 2nd — Pete H. and Kyle

Wives who attended with their husbands — Louise S., Suzi C. and Deepthi K.

This doesn't count the MEMBERS who were there ...

So ... I extend the invitation to you. We would love to have you attend one of our meetings. Don't worry, you won't be asked to make a speech or take a Table Topic. However, you will be greeted warmly, one or more of our members will sit with you and explain what's going on if necessary. And I guarantee you will leave saying, Wow ... what a night!
