Search Engine Requests ...

Well ... lookey here! I was digging through the server logs to try to find out where our blog traffic is coming from and I found a few interesting things. If you like this kind of stuff ... read on. If not, adios!

Month of May:

Average 'Hits' per day (people coming to this web site): 115
Lowest day total: 38
Highest day total: 291
Originating Countries: Canada, Mexico, England, Japan, India, Russia, Finland, Australia to name a few.
Top Referrers (where we get a link from): Google, Yahoo, AOL, and our own DallasToastmasters

Funny search phrases that brought people to us here at Big D! blog:

Catfish + catering + beer
traffic + activity
blown + sessions
low down + buddy + bald
impromptu + fingerprinting

I kid you not ... these were all search parameters typed into a search engine that brought people to our web site. Interesting, isn't it? Of course, the most common words searched for that bring people to us are;

Dallas + toastmasters
north + texas + toastmasters
Big D + toastmasters

Thought you might be interested in that. You know that the first question I ask ALL visitors and guests is, "How did you hear about is?" And, you know the answer. most of the time, they found us on the Internet.
