We meet every Thursday at 6:30pm at the DoubleTree Inn at Central Expwy and Caruth Haven (8250 N. Central Expwy). If you enjoy these highlights, then you really must attend a meeting!

Big D! Toastmasters Club — Election Night ...

Big D! Members: It is vitally important for everyone of you to be in your place on Thursday, May 31st, for our semi-annual Officer elections!

Visitors: If you are surfing the internet looking for a club to visit ... then you don't want to miss this Thursday evening.

The Low Down: There is something here for both groups; for the visitors (our guests) ... you will get to see a perfectly normal first half of a Toastmasters meeting with the invocation and pledge, inspiration, and table topics. The joy of watching grown men and women squirm when called upon for a Table Topic ... Inspiration drawn from the lives of brave men and women ... and much more.

For the members, it is all that and a whole lot more. Both guests and members get to hear election eve speeches from all the candidates running for office. Brief and to the point, we are given an insider's view of the next six months at Big D! And then, members get to cast their ballots to fill the officer positions. It will be a great evening.

Visitor ... may I have your ear for a minute? Thank you. You are one of many who have come our way via a search engine (Yahoo, Google, Ask, etc.) or a link that you found on another web site. 99% of all of our visitors in the past six months have found us through our web site and/or our blog. They read, they look at the pictures, and they want to find out more. We are a diverse mixture of doctor and college student ... attorney and entrepreneur ... teacher and housewife ... management and construction!

If that is you, may I personally invite you to this coming meeting. When you walk into the room, I want you to look for the biggest guy there with the bald head and say, "Buddy ... I saw the Big D! blog and here I am!" I'll buy you a Coke. I look forward to meeting you, as do all forty members of the best club in Dallas ... Welcome!
