John Sessions, Paul Carter, and Katherine Gean are the Nominating Committee for this current cycle and they have been working diligently in contacting the active membership and inquiring as to what positions they might be interested in. There are seven (7) officers in a Toastmasters Club and they are;

President
VP - Education
VP - Membership
VP - Public Relations
Secretary
Treasurer
Sergeant-at-Arms

John Sessions brought a brief report to the membership at this past Thursday's meeting. Another report will be brought this coming Thursday (May 24th) and then Officer elections will occur on the last Thursday of May, the 31st.

Please be in attendance on the 31st ... even though your schedule shows nothing but officer elections, there is a lot more going on. We will have the normal first half of the meeting (invocation, pledge, motivator, and table topics). The second half of the meeting will involve brief campaign speeches and then the vote for our new officers.

If you would like to be more involved in the club's operation, please contact one of the Nominating Committee immediately and express your desire. Officers serve for six months at a time and there is always plenty of room for fresh faces.
